Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder plot
The conspirators were a group of young Catholic noblemen who attempted
to assassinate the king(JamesI) and deystroy his Prostestant Parliament.
But some people now believe the plot was to justify the Protestant's harsh
treatment of the Catholics.
